In our Transport & Mobility team, we work at the intersection of user insights, data and advisory services—turning knowledge into decisions that make a tangible difference in operations, planning and development. We support, among others, transport operators, national authorities, regions, municipalities and private mobility actors in understanding users’ needs and behaviour and turning insights into action.
We work with questions such as:
- What concrete initiatives can drive customer growth and improve the travel experience?
- How do we get more people to choose greener and more sustainable modes of transport?
- How do we create mobility solutions and public transport that work for different target groups across life situations and geographies?
- How can urban spaces, stations and transport hubs support coherent, safe and efficient mobility?
- How do we design and embed initiatives so they can be implemented in practice and create real impact?
To answer these types of questions, we get close to the realities travellers move through—on buses, trains, the metro, by bike and on foot. We combine qualitative insights with robust quantitative analyses, using for example observations, travel-alongs and digital qualitative methods to understand context and friction points throughout the journey. At the same time, we analyse survey data and larger datasets using statistical methods, enabling us to identify segments, patterns and developments over time.
The goal is not only to deliver an analysis, but to make insights actionable. That is why we translate knowledge into decision-making foundations, strategies and development processes that can be used by those who plan, prioritise and drive mobility forward. The result is a clear, holistic picture of users, brand and market—and a strong basis for creating better mobility in practice.
